I’m very sad to  report that our friend and NCRS  UK Chairman Trevor Rogers died last Saturday 25th March  after a short illness. He leaves his daughter Alicia and partner Fifi.

To Corvette enthusiasts, he was best known as the founder and chairman of the UK chapter of the National Corvette Restorers Society NCRS . That was in 1998, and sometimes almost single-handed, he  kept the NCRS UK show on the road for 25 years of memorable road trips, judging events, annual Flight, events , three of these even in France. 

He also edited, illustrated  and produced Corvette Torque Magazine, first on paper and later online where it became the best of any NCRS Chapter publication worldwide 

A full obituary will follow to include his career as a successful photographer, producer and film cameraman, but for now he will be sadly missed by his hundreds of friends, professional colleagues, Corvette enthusiasts who all remember his endless enthusiasm and warm engagement with his friends.

It is with extreme sadness that we must report the passing of NCRSUK Founder Member Richard Harris.

Richard has been a committee member since chapter inception and had been fighting cancer for some time.

Richard’s focus whilst undergoing treatment was his beloved 1966 L72 BB Convertible Corvette for which he attained yet another Top Flight in November

You will be very sadly missed. my dear old friend.

It is with deep sadness to report the passing of long term Chapter member Michael Amos. Michael’s energy was boundless in supporting NCRS especially in the UK and Europe. He will be sadly missed but always remembered.
Michael passed on 24th March 2022 Our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.

A Zoom Workshop will be held on Wednesday 12th May – This is our first Workshop via Zoom. We will be discussing a powerpoint presentation prepared by Jack Humphrey and Jim Lennartz.

The AGM will be held via zoom on Wednesday 12th May.

The Chapter have been invited to attend the CCCUK Nat’s on Sunday 18th July.

Due to Covid the Le Mans trip has been postponed to 2022. We are planning to hold Flight 2021 back at the London Beach hotel in Tenterden on 18/19th September.

Further Workshops will be posted online and via email to current members. After the last committee meeting we decided to go ahead with the planned Flight 2021 Le Mans to coincide with the Le Mans Classic. We will obviously only hold the event if both the UK and French government Guidelines allow. Please contact Tom Falconer or Trevor for further information

Until such times allow we also plan to hold Chapter Workshops/Judging Schools via Zoom. We will send out the planned Zoom events a few weeks in advance and will send an email invite at the allotted time.
